A meeting was held at PolesSU with Alexey Alexeyevich Avdonin, Chairman of the Board of the Republican state‑Public Association "Belarusian Society “Znanie”". The meeting was opened by the rector of the University Valery Ivanovich Dunai. Valery Ivanovich noted the importance of Alexey Alekseevich's visit and stressed that cooperation with the “Znanie” contributes to the development of educational initiatives, the expansion of educational opportunities and the strengthening of the popular science movement in the region.
Alexey Alekseevich presented the key areas of the society's activities, spoke about modern formats of educational work and stressed the importance of involving young people in educational and public projects. Special attention was paid to the issues of civic responsibility, the development of students' intellectual potential and the support of youth initiatives.
During the event, the guests were introduced to the work of the branch laboratory "Longitudinal Research", and a tour of the academic building of the university was conducted.
