On April 8, university staff toured the museum rooms of Polessky State University. The 20th anniversary of the university is an excellent occasion to recall the events preceding the opening and establishment of the university, as well as the people who made a significant contribution to its development. Olga Anatolyevna Khmel, Vice-rector for Ideological and Educational Work, who had the honor to be a direct participant in the grand opening of Polessky State University with the participation of the Head of State, shared her memories.
Alexey Borisovich Rudenko, methodologist at the Department of Ideological and Educational Work, highlighted the historical stages of the university's creation and development, and also introduced the participants to the unique exhibits presented in the museum rooms. Among them are banknotes of various historical eras, original documents, bonds, archival materials and household items.
Alexey Borisovich noted that a significant part of the exhibits were donated by teachers, staff and graduates of the university, which emphasizes the continuity of generations, as well as the importance of preserving and enhancing traditions.
