On April 8, 2026, Valery Ivanovich Dunai, Rector of the University, met with students living in the Dormitory No. 5 of Polessky State University. The event was held in a warm and constructive atmosphere, becoming a platform for an open dialogue between the university administration and students. Opening the meeting, Valery Ivanovich emphasized: “Polessky State University is an example of caring for young people at the regional level, paying special attention to creating conditions for comfortable living and comprehensive development of students. I am proud of the achievements of our students in scientific, educational and creative activities – they strengthen the image of the university and confirm the correctness of our chosen path”.
The meeting was attended by Olga Anatolyevna Khmel, Vice-rector for Ideological and Educational Work, Andrey Konstantinovich Novik, Vice-rector, Tatiana Alexandrovna Rzhevskaya, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Finance, and Yulia Olegovna Golyakovich, Deputy Dean for Ideological and Educational Work.
One of the key topics of discussion was the material and technical condition of the dormitory. The meeting ended with an open discussion of issues of concern to students.
