Meeting of students with a psychotherapist and a priest

On April 9, a meeting was held at Polessky State University with the participation of the head of the social department of the Pinsk Diocese of the Belarusian Orthodox Church, Priest Sergiy Plotnitsky, and Anastasia Vasilyevna Lysyuk, head of the psychotherapy department for borderline conditions, a psychotherapist at the neuropsychiatric dispensary.  The topic of the dialogue is "The role of positive thinking in the prevention of depression. How to deal with despondency. The role of worldview in the positive perception of the modern world!".

Priest Sergiy Plotnitsky shared with the audience his vision of the meaning of life, focusing on such aspects as building long-term plans, the importance of human communication, and a positive perception of the modern world. The clergyman emphasized the importance of faith, love for one's neighbor and striving for goodness as fundamental components of a full-fledged life.

Anastasia Vasilyevna spoke about the role of positive thinking in the prevention of depression. Students received information about available psychological, psychotherapeutic, and psychiatric services, hotlines, signs of nervous system exhaustion, and self-help activities at various levels of exhaustion.
