On April, 10 the team of Polessky State University took part in the regional stage of the republican contest "Students. Safety. The Future" at the Brest Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus.
A rich program was prepared for the participants, including eight competitive blocks aimed at testing theoretical knowledge, practical skills and psychological stability. Alexey Nevar, a student of PolesSU, noted that the training sessions were intense, and each participant clearly understood their tasks at each stage. At the same time, the competitors demonstrated a high level of preparation, which made the competition especially intense. Alexey stressed that the work of a rescuer requires not only physical strength, but also serious moral stability, as well as respect for the profession and those who ensure the safety of citizens on a daily basis.
The participation of the university team in the competition was an important experience that demonstrated the high level of training and interest of students in safety and rescue matters.
