On April 15, 2026, the Republican Youth Job Fair was held in Pinsk. Polessky State University became one of the participants of the event, presenting a career guidance exhibition for students of schools, gymnasiums and lyceums of Pinsk and Pinsk district. The main goal of the university's participation is to help future applicants decide on a profession and demonstrate that studying at PolesSU is not only high–quality knowledge, but also an exciting practice from the beginning.
Representatives of the faculties told the high school students in detail about modern educational programs, admission rules in 2026 and employment prospects. Applicants were able to learn firsthand about the benefits of studying, internships and a busy student life. The interactive locations prepared by university teachers and students aroused particular interest among the guests of the exhibition. Everyone could try themselves as a specialist in various master classes: "Currency Master" – a practical lesson on financial literacy and working with banking instruments; "Dangerous neighbors" – a master class on biological safety and ecology; "Smart sorter. Sorting garbage" – a visual demonstration of the basics of sustainable development and environmental thinking; "Revive hieroglyph" – an immersion in the world of Oriental languages and culture; "Himalayas" – a specialized game simulator used in occupational therapy and physical rehabilitation; "Psychotest"– a professional test for self–discovery and career choice.
The format of the open microphone allowed the students to ask the most pressing questions: from the living conditions in the dormitory to the possibility of receiving personalized scholarships. Live communication with students helped the applicants to "try on" the role of a first-year student at PolesSU. The day passed positively: not a single guest of the exhibition was left without detailed consultations, bright information booklets and a great mood.
