On April 23, the grand opening of the XI International Festival of Volunteer Teams "Our choice is a healthy lifestyle!" took place at Polessky State University.
At the grand opening of the festival, Valery Ivanovich, Rector of Polessky State University, Zakharevskaya Victoria Olegovna, the head of the Republican Youth Center and Natalia Valeryevna Aponchuk, Chairman of the Republican Public Organization Belarusian Olympic Academy addressed the most responsive, proactive and caring young people with words of welcome and gratitude.
For fruitful and constructive cooperation within the framework of the current international agreement, the exchange of experience in the field of educational and volunteer activities, the strengthening of integration processes in the educational space of the Union State, as well as a significant contribution to the popularization of a healthy lifestyle among students, the Educational Institution "Polessky State University" was awarded the gratitude of the administration of the Smolensk branch of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Russian University of Economics named after G.V. Plekhanov".
The most active and caring students from all over the country, as well as teams from the Russian Federation, came together to share their experiences and best practices in volunteering, find new ideas for projects, learn about current trends in volunteering, develop their leadership and team skills, and be inspired to achieve new things.
The program of the festival includes participation in master classes and trainings from experienced volunteers and experts, participation in interactive games and quests, discussion of current social issues, development of joint projects, informal communication, excursions and acquaintance with the sights of Pinsk and, of course, new friends!
