On May 2 and 3, a tournament in memory of heroic pilots Andrei Nichiporchik and Nikita Kukonenko was held in Lida. More than 300 athletes from all regions of the Republic of Belarus took part in the tournament. Teachers and students of Polessky State University participated in the competition as part of the Brest Region team. In the men's up to 70 kg category: 3rd place – Stanislav Polyukhovich, a student at the Faculty of Healthy Lifestyle Organization; 2nd place – Daniil Aleksandrovich Polyukhovich, an assistant at the Department of Physical Culture and Sports. In the category of men up to 80 kg: 2nd place – Roman Glinko, a student of the Faculty of Healthy Lifestyle Organization. In the category of men over 80 kg: 2nd place – Maxim Sergeevich Gordeychuk, assistant of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports; 1st place – Dmitry Lyubaev, student of the Faculty of Healthy Lifestyle Organization.
