On May 5, 2026, PolesSU hosted the Pinsk Invest Weekend – 22 competition for innovative projects by young developers, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the university. 27 innovative projects were presented as part of the competition.
Vitaly Tadeushevich Cheshevik, Vice-rector for Scientific Work, Sergey Viktorovich Kunitsky, Chairman of the Pinsk City Council of Deputies, Chairman of the Pinsk city branch of the Belarusian Party “Belaya Rus”, and Olga Vladimirovna Ilkovets, First Secretary of the Pinsk city organization of the PA BRYU, addressed the audience with welcoming remarks.
As part of the competition, in the section "Bank 2.0: Solutions for the future", 9 participants – students of 3-4 courses – presented business projects prepared as part of their theses and term papers. Their ideas were aimed at improving banking products, developing digital services, improving customer experience and introducing modern technologies into the financial sector. Irina Alexandrovna Prygodich, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, addressed the participants and experts with a welcoming speech.
The projects of the contest participants were presented in the following areas: - interactive technologies and artificial intelligence; - design solutions; - biological innovations; - technical concepts.
