On June 10, Polessky State University hosted the II scientific and practical seminar with international participation “Modern Sports Science: meeting the challenges of the time”, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Polessky State University. The seminar was attended by specialists from Kursk State University, the Republican Scientific and Practical Sports Center, as well as teachers and graduate students from the Faculty of Healthy Lifestyle Organization at Polessky State University.
During the seminar, topical areas of sports science development were discussed: improving the effectiveness of the training process, modern approaches to the prevention of overexertion in athletes, as well as the formation and strengthening of a health-saving culture in professional sports.
The participants noted the importance of interuniversity and international cooperation to address the modern challenges of the sports industry and exchange scientific and practical experience.
