Nikita Dubina, a student of PolesSU, performed well at the World Martial Arts Championship

Nikita Dubina, a student of the Faculty of Economics and Finance at Polessky State University, successfully represented the University and the Republic of Belarus at the World Martial Arts Championship, which was held from June 7 to 14 in the capital of Brazil.

Athletes from 46 countries took part in the competition, which makes the tournament one of the most prestigious in the international calendar. In the first match, Nikita confidently defeated his opponent from New Zealand with a score of 8-0, demonstrating a high level of preparation and tactical skill. In the second battle, the student of PolesSU met with the representative of Macedonia and achieved a victory with a score of 7-6 in an intense struggle. The third match was less successful – Nikita lost to the athlete from Turkey with a score of 6-11. Nevertheless, participation in such a large-scale international tournament allowed him to gain valuable experience and become one of the strongest participants in the competition.
