Anna Nikolaevna Stepanenko, a graduate of the specialty "Linguistic support of Intercultural Communication", shares the pages of her student biography and talks about how the first translation tests turned into confident work with large customers: "Four and a half years at Polessky State University became for me not just a period of study, but a powerful stage of personal and professional transformation. Today, looking back, I realize that PolesSU became the very launching pad that opened up unlimited possibilities for self-realization. My journey was intense and ambitious. Studying in the specialty "Linguistic support of intercultural communications" has given me much more than just knowledge of foreign languages. Thanks to the strong teaching staff, I mastered English and German at a high professional level, learned to subtly feel the stylistics of texts and understand the mentality of other nations. For me, language has become not just a communication tool, but a complex system that opens doors to the international business space. Understanding the requirements of the modern market, I decided not to limit myself to one area and at the same time received a second higher education in the specialty "Manager-economist". Combining two such different areas was not easy, but it was university that taught me discipline, multitasking, and the ability to find innovative solutions. Today, this unique symbiosis of humanitarian and economic knowledge allows me to look at any project comprehensively: I see not only the linguistic nuances of the text, but also understand the business processes behind it. At the moment, I am successfully implementing myself in a dynamic online field. My professional activity focuses on high-quality translation of texts of various kinds into German and English. Working remotely gives me the freedom to move around and the opportunity to collaborate with large customers, putting into practice everything I was taught at PolesSU: from deep analytics to the nuances of intercultural dialogue".
