The delegation of Polessky State University, headed by Rector Valery Ivanovich Dunai, took part in commemorative events dedicated to the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People. The participants paid tribute to the memory of the victims, laid flowers and took part in traditional events aimed at preserving the historical truth.
The events began with a rally at the Mass Grave of the Liberators Memorial Complex, where university representatives laid flowers and paid tribute to the defenders of the Motherland.
After that, the delegation joined the patriotic rally "Road of Memory", which traditionally unites residents of the region in an effort to preserve the historical truth and pass it on to the younger generation.
At the end of "Road of Memory", a rally was held at the memorial plaque installed at the place of death of the first victims of the Great Patriotic War in Pinsk.
