Students of Gymnasium No. 1 and secondary school No. 8 of Pinsk visited the branch laboratories of Polessky State University as part of a career guidance program. The students had the opportunity to see how modern science works and get acquainted with the areas of training of the Faculty of Healthy Lifestyle Organization. The tour is organized by the primary organization "BRYU" of PolesSU as part of the Republican Marathon of Youth and students.
Natalia Vasilyevna Shepelevich, Head of the Longitudinal Research Laboratory, presented to the students a unique scientific platform where fundamental and applied research in the field of natural sciences is conducted. The students were particularly interested in developments related to DNA technologies used in medicine, physical education and sports.
The guests also visited the branch laboratory "Scientific, methodological and biomedical support for the training of athletes in Olympic sports", where they got acquainted with modern equipment and techniques used to assess the functional state of athletes and improve the effectiveness of the training process.
The career guidance tour allowed the students to see how modern scientific laboratories work and to get acquainted with the learning opportunities at PolesSU. Such meetings help students to consciously choose their future profession and expand their understanding of the world of science and sports.
