From June 27 to July 11, 2026, students of the Engineering and Biotechnology faculties of the specialties "Linguistic Support for Intercultural Communication", "Information Systems and Technologies" and "Biotechnology" are undergoing two-week training at the Chinese Summer School at Harbin University of Science and Technology.
The event was organized as part of the YES youth exchange program with the support of the Longjiang Ice and Snow International Project. The program provides for intensive cultural and educational immersion, combining academic classes, familiarization with China's digital technologies and the study of the historical and cultural heritage of the region. On the first day, orientation meetings were held with the curators and teachers, the participants were familiarized with the schedule and rules of the school.
Master classes in calligraphy, lectures on digital transformation in China, and guided tours, including an introduction to Harbin's winter culture through interactive museum exhibitions, are planned in the near future.
