Dear faculty, staff, and students of Polessky State University! I congratulate you on Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus – a day that unites all who are devoted to their homeland, who cherish the memory of its heroic past and who look with pride to the future of our country. This year the Republic of Belarus celebrates the 82nd anniversary of its liberation from the Nazi invaders – an event forever etched in the history of our people as a symbol of courage, resilience, and invincible strength of mind. The memory of the heroism of the generations who defended the country's freedom and independence is the foundation upon which the civic and patriotic education of our youth is built. Our youth are our most strategic resource and the future of Belarus depends on their worldview, maturity, and civic position. On this festive day I wish you good health, peace, kindness, inspiration, and new achievements in work and study.
