Yegor Ovchinnikov, a student of the Faculty of a Healthy Lifestyle Organization at Polessky State University, along with his crew in the four‑person canoe (C4), won a gold medal at the World University Canoe and Kayak Rowing Championships. In the 500‑meter race, the team demonstrated confident leadership and high technical preparation, outperforming their rivals and reaching the top step of the podium.
Furthermore, in the 500‑meter mixed event, Egor won a silver medal.
