Maria Popichich, a student at the Faculty of Healthy Lifestyle Organization at Polessky State University, an international master of sports, a two‑time world champion among juniors, and a silver medalist at the 2026 European Championships among adult athletes, honorably represented the Belarusian rowing school on the international stage. The athlete won a bronze medal at the World Canoe and Kayak Rowing Championships, which took place in the Polish city of Poznań.
The competitions brought together the strongest rowers from all over the world. In the 5‑km race, Maria Popichich demonstrated a high level of training, tactical competence, and the will to win, which allowed her to reach the podium. The bronze award at the world forum was a clear confirmation of the athlete’s talent and hard work, as well as the result of well‑coordinated coaching work.
