On September 3, students, master’s students, and staff, led by Rector Valery Ivanovich Dunai, visited the Pobeda cinema. The event was organized with the support of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus. Before the film screening began, the audience had the opportunity to view a photo exhibition organized in the cinema’s lobby.
The ambassador had a conversation with the rector and the master’s students from the People’s Republic of China who are studying at Polessky State University.
The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus, Zhang Wenchuan, emphasized the importance of preserving the memory of the past: “The memory of the past is preserved not to foster hatred, but to awaken in people the desire to preserve peace. We will always honor this memory. China is ready, together with the international community, including Belarus, to remain a guardian of historical truth, a defender of peace throughout the world, and a fighter for justice for all of humanity. I wish that the sky above our children’s heads will always be peaceful!”
