On September 15, Polessky State University held a presentation of sports sections for first‑year students — an event that marked the starting point for preparations for the Republican Universiade. The dean of the Faculty of Health Lifestyle Organization, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Tatyana Vladimirovna Marinich, addressed the freshmen with a welcoming speech. She emphasized that the university creates all the conditions for sports activities, allowing each student to find a direction that suits their interests. It was noted that the current sports season is being held under the common slogan “Towards the Universiade!”, which unites the teams of PolesSU in their pursuit of high results.
A marathon of master classes has been organized for first‑year students, where everyone will be able to try their hand at different sports, meet the coaches, and make an informed choice of a sports section.
