On September 15, an information meeting dedicated to National Unity Day was held at the Faculty of Economics and Finance and the Faculty of Engineering.
Leonid Alexandrovich Yaroshevich, Senior lecturer at the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities, spoke to the students with a meaningful story about the history and significance of this national holiday. He recalled the events of September 17, 1939, which marked a key stage in the reunification of Western Belarus with the BSSR, and emphasized that this day symbolizes the restoration of historical justice and the country’s integrity.
