At Polessky State University, a solemn meeting was held to celebrate the national holiday — National Unity Day, which has been observed in our country for the sixth year in a row. The rector of Polessky State University, Valery Ivanovich Dunai, addressed the participants of the event. “It is very pleasant to address you on the eve of this young and significant national holiday. This day embodies the main values of the Belarusian people — creation, the aspiration to peace and unity. The holiday underscores the importance of national unity, peacefulness, and the responsibility of every citizen for the country’s future. This day reminds us that Belarus’s strength lies in the unity of its people, respect for state traditions, and the desire to create,” Valery Ivanovich noted.
The presentation of certificates to university staff also took place.
For university staff, the event is of particular importance: it fosters a shared understanding of the state’s strategic goals, strengthens the sense of professional responsibility, and highlights the role of each employee in maintaining social harmony.
