On September 18, 2026, the II tourist rally of staff and faculty members of Polessky State University took place at rowing base No. 2. The event was timed to coincide with the National Unity Day of the Republic of Belarus and was held under the motto “We are proud of our country – we are strong as a team!”
In the 20th anniversary year of the university, the tourist rally brought together representatives from all faculties and structural units of the institution, becoming a vivid symbol of the cohesion and continuity of traditions within the large university family. The solemn opening ceremony began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus. The rector, Valery Ivanovich Dunai, addressed the participants with words of welcome, noting the importance of unity, team spirit, and a healthy lifestyle in the life of a modern university.
During the team rally, the teams competed in four disciplines: darts, shooting at a basketball hoop, kettlebell press, and tug‑of‑war. Each stage required not only physical fitness from the participants, but also endurance, concentration, and the ability to work as a single team.
