On September 30, in the eve of the Day of Older People, the Polessky State University held a charity fair — a good tradition that brings together the university’s leadership, teachers, staff, and students around an important social mission. The event was attended by Rector Valery Ivanovich Dunai, who emphasized the significance of the initiative and thanked the students for their activity, kindness, and attention to older people.
Throughout the day, the fair was filled with an atmosphere of participation and sincere support. Students and teachers presented their own products, baked goods, souvenirs, and creative works, and the guests enthusiastically purchased them, knowing that every contribution was a way to help elderly people who need care and attention.
The funds raised will be used to provide targeted support to members of the older generation: assistance in purchasing necessary items, participation in social programs, and creating comfortable conditions for those who especially need attention.
