Polessky State University took part in the grand opening of the program of a joint educational project of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) “Artificial Intelligence Technologies in the Digital Transformation of the Agro‑Industrial Sector”. The large‑scale program was launched on October 2, 2026, via video conferencing. The project brought together representatives from five countries: the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, Uzbekistan, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan — on one platform. On behalf of Polessky State University, Irina Alexandrovna Prigodich, Vice‑Rector for Academic Affairs, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.
The program, which is designed for three months (October–December 2026), is aimed at training specialists capable of implementing end‑to‑end technologies and artificial intelligence in the modern agro‑industrial complex. The university’s teaching staff is actively involved in the project — A. V. Kozyr, a senior lecturer at the Department of Aquaculture and Environmental Design, will be one of the programme’s lecturers, and upon successful completion of the course, the participants will receive certificates of advanced training of the established form.
