On 22 December, the New Year's Eve Ball for the talented youth of the Brest region took place. The tradition of holding the New Year's Eve Balls was established in 2018, when the first Presidential Ball was held in Minsk. Now annual balls are held in all regions of the republic.
Led by Dunay Valery Ivanovich, the rector of Polessky State University, Polessky State University was represented by Kulikovskaya Milana, a student of the Economics and Finance Faculty, Matsuka Olga, a student of the Healthy Way of Life Organization Faculty, and Cherkas Yegor, a student of the Biotechnological Faculty.
Partaking in the New Year's Eve Ball were the best 50 students of four universities of the region, the students of lyceums and other educational establishments, including the winners of Olympiads, competitions, sports tournaments, and the authors of innovative projects.
