On 20 January, the opening of the Young leader club of Polessky State University took place. The club includes young teachers of the university, who are in the promising personnel reserve of the Brest region and Polessky State University, those ones who already have certain achievements in science, sports, and social activities. The purpose of creating the club is to plan and conduct a series of events aimed at developing the potential of the young generation of the university teachers and supporting their initiatives. Vice-rector Mikchal M. Zaranka and Vice-rector for educational affairs Olga A. Khmel took part in the meeting of the club.
A training on developing leadership qualities was held within the framework of the meeting. It was aimed at developing an active social position, introspection and communication skills. The participants’ prospects of becoming leaders were discussed, clear and distinct signs of leadership behavior were identified.
