During the week of financial literacy for children and youth the meeting of lyceum and second and third year university students who studies at the Faulty of Economics and Finance with the representatives of the branch of Closed Joint-Stock Insurer “Belnefestrach” in Pinsk was held in Polessky State University.
The main objective of the meeting was to educate young people on insurance, help them to master the skills of rational insurance behavior, conduct career guidance counseling with lyceum students and inform them about internship, job and career opportunities in Closed Joint-Stock Insurer “Belnefestrach”.
Practitioners told the students about the peculiarities of different insurance products and outlined the prospects of the insurance development in the Republic of Belarus in a comprehensible way. The skill formation of rational insurance behavior from a young age can foster the development of financial management skill in adulthood.
