Polessky State University is one of the largest centers for the training of economic personnel in the Republic of Belarus. The Faculty of Economics and Finance conducts training in 8 specialties of the economic profile for school graduates and 2 specialties for graduates of colleges. At the same time, you can simultaneously participate in the competition for all specialties of the economic profile.
FACULTY LIFE
In September 2021, the National Academy of Sciences hosted a forum of scientific youth "The Way to Science". The event was attended by fourth-year students of the Faculty of Economics and Finance majoring in Marketing and Banking, as well as employees of Polessky State University.
On September 27, students and teachers of the Department of Marketing and International Management traditionally celebrated World Tourism Day.
On October 25, the celebration of the Marketer's Day took place at the Faculty of Economics and Finance at Polessky State University.
On October 6, 2021, the head of the Central Bank No. 406 of JSC Belinvestbank Pinsk, D.A. Bogovich, and the deputy head of the Central Bank No. 406 of JSC Belinvestbank Pinsk, S.V. Linkevich, solemnly presented students with personal certificates that give their holders the right to a priority internship in the branches of JSC Belinvestbank. The recipients of the certificates are the top 10 4th year students of the Faculty of Economics and Finance: they have a high average score (9 or more), are actively engaged in research work.
In February, the Belarusian-Chinese Center for Intercultural Communications celebrated Chinese New Year together with foreign students. The holiday was organized by students of the specialty linguistic support of intercultural communications. Future translators and specialists in intercultural communications and students from China introduced the guests of the event to Oriental traditions and held master classes in calligraphy and Chinese painting.
In March, a solemn concert dedicated to the birthday of the faculty took place.
From March 28 to April 01, 2022, 10th and 11th grade students from different cities of the Republic of Belarus studied at the spring startup camp of Polessky State University.
The faculty has an active student research laboratory, the purpose of which is to attract students to active research and scientific production work. The result of the laboratory's work are the achievements and successful projects of the students of POLESSU.
On April 12, 2022, JSC Belagroprombank and Polessky State University signed a Roadmap of Cooperation for 2022-2023.
In April, the XVI International Youth Scientific and Practical online conference "Scientific potential of youth - the future of Belarus", traditional for Polessky State University, took place.
On April 26, 2022, the National Agency for Investment and Privatization of the Republic of Belarus jointly with the Department of Marketing and International Management of Polessky State University organized an educational webinar for students of the specialties ”Management of innovative projects of industrial enterprises“, ”Marketing“ and ”Management (in areas)“.
From January 1 to May 27, 2022, JSC "Belagroprombank" together with CJSC "Technology and Communications" held the republican case championship "AGRO 4.0". Students of the Faculty of Economics and Finance took part in the competition/ In conditions of fierce competition, the team of our guys "INVESTRUM" reached the semi-finals of the competition and entered the top 5 out of 23 teams from all over Belarus. The head of the Banking Services Center No. 703 of the Regional Directorate of JSC Belagroprombank in Minsk, P.L. Volodko, presented the team members with well-deserved awards.
On June 28, 2022, more than 150 graduates of the Faculty of Economics and Finance of Polessky State University received diplomas of economists, managers, marketers, specialists in intercultural communications and reference translators.
