In May you begin to appreciate your life: every day, hour, minute. This is happiness to breathe in the scent of blooming flowers, see the blue sky over your head, and hear the birdsong. In May more often than usual I remember my grandfather’s stories who survived the war, his trembling voice and tears. Now he is turning away and falling silent he can’t bear to think about terrible moments. I am tempted to say to him and thousands of people like him simple human thanks. Thank you for this spring, thank you for life, thank you for the Victory!
