As part of the information and educational campaign "Belarus is united", timed to coincide with the Day of National Unity, a dialogue platform was organized on the basis of the Polessky State University. The event was initiated by the Republican State Public Association “Belarusian Society “Knowledge”. The speakers were: Deputy Chairman of the Pinsk City Executive Committee Polikovsky Gennady Ignatievich, Head of the Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Pinsk City Executive Committee Kulak Valentina Nikolaevna, Director of the State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 12 of Pinsk" Yaroshevich Leonid Aleksandrovich, Senior Researcher State Institution "Museum of Belarusian Polissya" Orzhehovsky Alexander Vladimirovich, Deputy Dean, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Intercultural Communications of the Educational Institution "Polessky State University" Gorish Irina Vladimirovna. The dialogue was attended by students of the Polessky State University and students of other educational institutions of the city of Pinsk. The topics of the dialogue were: history, meaning and significance of the Day of National Unity, historical events that are the prerequisites for its establishment, as well as the most important topics of patriotism and the preservation of historical memory. Representatives of the city leadership announced the events held in the framework of the holiday in the city of Pinsk.
