On December 7, 2022, the head of the International Relations Department Natalia Vladimirovna Aksenchik, together with the teacher of the Department of Intercultural Communications Anna Andreevna Mankevich, took part in an online seminar-conference on cooperation between the Brest region and the Hubei province of the People's Republic of China. The event was organized by the Main Department of Education of the Brest Regional Executive Committee with the participation of the Embassy and Consulate of the Republic of Belarus in the People's Republic of China, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus, the Chairman of the People's Government of Hubei Province, the Education Department of Hubei Province, as well as the administrations of educational institutions of the Brest Region of the Republic Belarus. The event is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Belarus, as well as the anniversary of the establishment of sister city relations between the Brest region and Hubei province. During the event, the main aspects of the Belarusian-Chinese cooperation were covered, the directions and scope of further mutually beneficial cooperation were determined. The parties noted that the organized online meeting gives a new impetus to cooperation between the countries. At the end of the event, the parties thanked the meeting participants for their speeches, wished them success in further cooperation and expressed confidence in the strength of the potential for cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China.
