The centralized increase in practice-oriented knowledge of students with their active involvement in the process of informatization (digitization) of Polesie region is an extremely urgent and demanded task. That is why, as part of the Week of Belarusian Science, on January 26, 2023, an agreement was signed at Polessky State University on the creation of a virtual educational IT campus. The participants of such an organizational structure were educational institutions that train specialized specialists: Polessky State University, Pinsk State College of Engineering and Technology, Stolin State Agrarian and Economic College. In general, the Virtual IT Campus (a remote educational center for practical training in advanced information technologies) is an educational environment that, using information and communication technologies, without building buildings and structures, unites into single teams (usually temporary ones for solving specific problems or passing certain courses): teachers (mentors), students, civil servants and other people who want to study information technology, despite the fact that campus participants and consumers of its services are located in different geographical points. In the same way (remotely) teams are formed to develop specific software to order. Educational institutions presented the approaches they use in the training of IT specialists, the results obtained by students. On the basis of the discussion, a roadmap for the development of the Campus was agreed and the key tasks of such cooperation were formed: the allocation of supporting internal organizational structures in educational institutions that would provide communications within the virtual IT campus; continuous selection of the most capable and active students, formation of unified project teams for IT specializations from them (within the Campus); carrying out work on the formation (updating) of the bank of such students with the encouragement of the most successful; systematic organization of seminars, courses, trainings in relevant IT areas; contests, including Hackathons; coordination of the activities of the IT campus with the authorities, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, digitalization offices.
