Based on the decision of the University Council dated February 22, 2023, the title of "Honorary Professor of Polessky State University" for his contribution to the spiritual and moral education of students, the formation of the unity of the Belarusian nation was awarded to the chairman of the Synodal Department for Cooperation with Secular Educational Institutions, Archpriest Fyodor Petrovich Povny. On February 23, the rector of Polessky State University, Dunai Valery Ivanovich, solemnly presented the clergyman with a diploma conferring an honorary title. The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Pinsk City Executive Committee Novak Nikolai Viktorovich, students and university staff. Fyodor Povny and Polessky State University have strong cooperation in the field of spiritual and educational work: Orthodox readings, watching the lectures of the archpriest at curatorial hours, excursions and conversations.
