On February 28, 2023, the grand final of the 12th season of the republican youth innovation project "100 Ideas for Belarus" was held at the National Library of the Republic of Belarus. More than 500 people took part in the event. The 12th season of the project "100 Ideas for Belarus" started on November 15, 2022. 1,200 applications were received for participation in the project. Before the republican final, 66 zonal (district) qualifying rounds, 6 regional and Minsk city tours, a qualifying round of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and, for the first time, an interuniversity tour (plus 6 zonal) took place. An important feature of the season was a set of practice-oriented training on the basics of creating, presenting, promoting and implementing youth developments. 75 training events took place throughout the country. Following the results of numerous selections, 129 finalist projects were presented at the final, which were presented in 10 sections: “Energy, including nuclear energy, and energy efficiency”; "Agro-industrial technologies and farming"; "Industrial and construction technologies"; “Healthcare (medical technologies, pharmacy, bio- and nanoindustry)”; "Chemical technologies, petrochemistry"; "Information and Communication Technologies"; "Ecology (rational nature management and deep processing of natural resources)"; "National Security and Emergency Protection"; "Society and social sphere"; "Best Business Idea" In the nomination "Agro-industrial technologies and farming" Polessky State University presented the project "BSF - Black Soldier Fly", authors-developers: Likhota Vladislav Yuryevich (postgraduate student, assistant of the Department of Aquaculture Technologies), Evseev Evgeny Borisovich (Associate Professor of the Department of Landscape Design, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences) , Dadychina Bogdana Yurievna (3rd year, group 20PR-1); Project leaders: Astrenkov Andrey Valerievich, Head of the Department of Aquaculture Technologies, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences; Markovich Tatyana Pavlovna, specialist of the scientific and innovation department. During the event, the section "Implemented" was also organized, at which 14 developments of the finalists and winners of the project of different years, introduced into the real sector of the economy, were presented. For the first time, within the framework of the republican final "100 ideas for Belarus", 13 developments were presented by the winners of the XXIX Republican competition of students' scientific works. This year, the expert council included representatives of government bodies and organizations, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the State Committee for Science and Technology, specialized business entities, business communities, and winners of the 100 Ideas for Belarus contest of previous years. Experts evaluated the relevance and novelty of the idea, as well as the practical significance of the projects. According to the results of the competition, 20 winners were identified, whose developments will receive support and funding.
