In order to ensure close interaction between industry and university science, the practical implementation of scientific research results for the effective solution of priority industry tasks, a meeting was held in the Ministry under the chairmanship of Minister Andrey Khmel with the participation of the director of the State Scientific Institution "Institute of Housing and Communal Services of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus" and representatives of the educational institution "Polessky State University » headed by Vice-Rector for Science and Research Vladimir Shtepa. “As part of the development of university science, our university is implementing practice-oriented projects taking into account changing needs, including those for housing and communal services, such as digitalization of wastewater disposal, disposal of excess sludge, wastewater treatment plants, and landscape design,” said Vladimir Shtepa. Some of these projects were presented to the meeting participants. The key system blocks of scientific support for housing and communal services are the creation of a constantly updated package of ideas (technologies) within the framework of the science-technology-innovation complex; highly qualified personnel and optimized resource provision, - the Minister noted - In addition, when conducting scientific research in the field of housing and communal services, it is necessary to put the economic component at the forefront. The result of this meeting will be the signed Agreement on cooperation between the State Scientific Institution "Institute of Housing and Public Utilities of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus" and the Polessky State University.
