Students, lyceum students and staff of the Polessky State University, headed by Rector Dunai Valery Ivanovich, took part in the city solemn event dedicated to the Day of the State Flag, the State Emblem and the National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus. A solemn ceremony of raising the State flag and performing the National Anthem took place on the main square of the city. As part of the festive event, Tikhonovskaya Yulia Olegovna, assistant of the Department of Marketing and International Management, chairman of the youth wing of the "Belarusian Union of Women" was awarded with a letter of thanks from the Pinsk City Executive Committee for effective work on the patriotic education of youth, active citizenship, development and popularization of the women's movement. At the end of the solemn event, a patriotic rally started, in which representatives of the Polessky State University also took part.
