On May 29-30, a field meeting of the Standing Committee of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on education, culture and science is being held at the Polessky State University. On the agenda is the topic “On the role of education legislation in stimulating the development of university fundamental, innovative and applied science at the regional level (within the framework of studying the practice of applying the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Education)”. The plenary session was attended by the chairman of the commission Marzalyuk Igor Aleksandrovich, the deputy chairman of the commission Kolesneva Elena Petrovna, the rector of the Polesie State University Dunai Valery Ivanovich, the head of the lyceum of the Polessky State University Sinkevich Alina Ivanovna. The work of the commission continued at the facilities of the university. The meeting participants got acquainted with the sports facilities of the university. In the student club of Polessky State University presented the concert program “Belarus is WE!”. On May 30, the commission got acquainted with the areas of work of the scientific developments of the faculties and laboratories of the university.
