One of the main innovative events of this year was held at Polessky State University - the competition of innovative projects for young developers - PINSK INVEST WEEKEND - 19. More than 70 participants came together to determine the best innovative project. The event is held in accordance with the Startup Events Plan for 2023, approved by the Brest Regional Executive Committee. The final of the competition was opened by Deputy Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Gorodetsky Dmitry Nikolaevich, wishing the implementation of the developed ideas and successful projects. The Rector of the University, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Dunai Valery Ivanovich delivered a welcoming speech to the participants of the competition. On-line, the welcoming speech was made by: Director of the Business Incubator "The Future is with Us" and Startup Accelerator Krokit Saevets Igor Nikolayevich; Head of the Department of Organizational Work and International Activities of the Belarusian Innovation Fund Zdankevich Ekaterina Vasilievna, who also presented a report on the topic: "The Republican competition of innovative projects as a tool to support innovative projects." The event will be remembered by the audience for the presentation of 11 bright projects that passed the preliminary selection and presented research in the field of information technology, nutrition, biotechnology, etc. The Rostov State University of Economics (RINH) acted as a foreign participant. For the first time, the Pinsk State College of Engineering and Technology and the Pinsk State Agrarian Technological College took part in the event.
