On September 5, 2023, the First Belarusian-Uzbek Women's Business Forum was held at the site of the National Children's Technopark with the participation of the Chairman of the Standing Commission of the Council of the Republic on Education, Science, Culture and Social Development Irina Anatolyevna Starovoytova, the Minister of Education Ivanets Andrey Ivanovich, the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva , Chief Scientific Secretary of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vasily Leonidovich Gursky, as well as representatives of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly, republican government bodies, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Youth Parliament, the NGO "Belarusian Women's Union of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus" and a lot others. Polesie State University was represented by the rector of the university Dunai Valery Ivanovich. The participants of the Forum were representatives of the university: – Prigodich Irina Aleksandrovna, Dean of the Continuous Training Faculty; – Natalia Vitalievna Korogvich, deputy dean for Educational work, chairman of the primary organization of the public association “Belarusian Union of Women” of Polessky State University; – Aksenchik Natalya Vladimirovna, head of the international relations department; – Alena Vladimirovna Ustimchuk, methodologist of the Continuous Training Faculty; – Lazovskaya Anna Vasilievna, member of the Youth Parliament at the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus. Within the framework of the First Belarusian-Uzbek Women's Business Forum, issues of interuniversity cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan were raised. The Uzbek side expressed interest in the Belarusian experience on this issue, as well as in deepening cooperation in the field of education in general. The rector of Polessky State University Dunai Valery Ivanovich and the deputy director of the Nukus branch of the Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Specialists in Physical Culture and Sports Zhumabai Bakhytbaevich Abatov signed an Agreement on Cooperation between educational institutions online.
