Meeting of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus

On September 15, 2023, a visiting meeting of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus was held. In the meeting hall of the Oil Workers' Palace of Culture, a round table was held on the topic: “Social support for young workers of enterprises,” at which a member of the Council of Young Scientists of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of Polessky State University, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Biotechnology Maria Mikhailovna spoke about interaction between Polessky State University and the real sector of the economy. At the Polotsk State University named after Euphrosyne of Polotsk, a seminar was held on the preparation and conduct of the 13th season of the republican youth project “100 ideas for Belarus” in higher education institutions. The speaker was Daria Pavlovskaya, inspector of the youth affairs department of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus. On September 16, in Novopolotsk, which this year bears the high title of Youth Capital, the “Day of Scientific Youth” was held (as a regional stage of the scientific event “Festival of Science - 2023”) with the participation of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus. The grand opening of the event took place with the participation of the head of the department of science and innovation activity of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus P.N. Pekutko, the chairman of the Novopolotsk city executive committee D.V. Demidov, the rector of the Polotsk State University named after Euphrosyne Polotsk Yu.Ya. Romanovsky. There were two platforms at the event: An interactive platform-exhibition in the areas of scientific activity of educational institutions and enterprises of the Vitebsk region, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (exhibition of scientific achievements of young scientists, work spaces in specialties, master classes, quizzes, experiments, board game tournament); Open lectures by scientists of the Republic of Belarus. Vorobyova Maria Mikhailovna, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of Polessky State University, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Biotechnology, gave a lecture “The story of how the brain breaks.”
