The national trade union centers of Belarus, Egypt and Syria, as well as the International Confederation of Trade Unions of Arab States, which unites 18 countries, following negotiations at the headquarters of the FPB, made a fundamental decision to join forces and work together in the international arena. During the negotiations, all participants clearly outlined a common position: today the international trade union movement is extremely politicized. As a result, under pressure from Western countries and the United States, instead of trade union solidarity, support and solving the problems of workers, barriers and restrictions are introduced, decisions are made that directly harm people. Therefore, as Mikhail Orda, Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, emphasized, those trade unions that act in the interests of people must unite and create centers of power that will resist such unfair and illegal actions. We are talking about forming a common agenda for joint work at international platforms.
