On October 31, students and foreign undergraduates of Polesie State University took online participation in the International Round Table dedicated to World Cities Day. The initiator of the event was the Volga Region Institute of Management - RANEPA. Among the meeting participants were students and teachers of the Volga Region Institute of Management, Iraqi University of Samara and Samarkand State University named after Sharaf Rashidov, Uzbekistan. Polessky State University with stories about cities such as Pinsk, Baranovichi, Brest, Volkovysk, Gervyaty, Kamen, Malorita, Zaborovtsy was presented by students from the Faculty of Biotechnology, the Faculty of Healthy Lifestyle Organization, and the Faculty of Economics and Finance.
Students talked about history and modernity, noted architectural features and main attractions, and remembered legendary fellow countrymen. A number of speeches also spoke about favorite corners and dishes of national cuisine. Master's students from China, prepared by Elena Timofeevna Kuznetsova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, spoke about how they see Pinsk as a sports city, and also talked about Beijing and Qingdao.
General management of the preparation and holding of the event was carried out by the department of educational work with youth, the department of international relations, and the event was moderated by international relations specialist Anna Dzhumalieva.
