From November 17 to 19, 2023, a large-scale Russian-Belarusian forum “Bridges of Friendship” was held at Pskov State University (PskovSU). “Bridges of Friendship” is one of the most significant international youth events. During the forum, they discussed the prospects for dialogue among the youth of the Union State, joint projects aimed at strengthening friendly international relations, and the best practices of networking between higher education institutions of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.
The event, as part of the Belarusian delegation from Polessky State University, was attended by Vice-Rector for Educational Work Olga Anatolyevna Khmel, 3rd year students of the Faculty of Economics and Finance Demyanovich Polina and the Faculty of Biotechnology Yushkevich Yulia, Antyushenya Dominica.
The educational track of the forum included lectures, project seminars, interactive sessions and training sessions. In addition, about 15 projects in the field of youth policy were developed. Representatives of PolesSU presented the project “Eco-Union of Students of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.
One of the key events of the forum was the signing of the agreement of the “Together” consortium. The signatures were put by the vice-rector for educational work of Polessky State University Olga Anatolyevna Khmel and the rector of Pskov State University Ilyina Natalya Anatolyevna.
As part of the ceremonial closing of the forum, certificates were awarded to participants. The international forum has become a platform for bold ideas and their implementation, productive work and its high results.
