On November 27, the festival of national cultures “Friendship of Peoples” was held at Polessky State University. PolesSU students from the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Karakalpakstan, China, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Vietnam, and Armenia took part in it.
The participants spoke about the culture and traditions of their people, prepared creative performances, and the culmination of the event was an exhibition of national dishes with tasting, where everyone could experience the zest of the taste of Oriental and Slavic cuisine.
The festival confirms the importance of spiritual and moral values, is an example of the unity of people of different nationalities, opens up new opportunities for cultural dialogue, teaches the younger generation to respect folk origins and cherish precious heritage. During the event, a friendly, warm and family-like atmosphere reigned.
