On April 22-26, University employees, senior lecturer of the department of aquaculture and environmental design, Victoria Vladimirovna Volkova and assistant Vladislav Yuryevich Likhota, took part in the international youth forum “UAV-2024” at the Belarusian State Technological University.
The forum program was full of thematic exhibitions and excursions, and a conference was held at which university employees made a report “Identification of the prerequisites for the creation of landscape architecture objects (ecoparks) in intersettlement areas using unmanned vehicles” in the section “Use of unmanned technologies in forestry and agriculture "
The bad weather did not stop me from visiting the Negorelsky educational and experimental forestry enterprise, where “Demonstration flights of UAVs” were held in order to visualize the “civil use of drones in forestry” on the ground, as well as master classes: “UAVs: areas of use and training”, “Technology” vacuum diffusion in the production of UAVs."
As part of the patriotic event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, the event participants visited the Brest Hero Fortress memorial complex. The excursion began with laying flowers at the Eternal Flame at the Courage Monument and ended with an acquaintance with the exhibition of the Museum of the Heroic Citadel.
