On October 19-20, the international karate competition "Belarus Open" took place at the Chizhovka Arena sports complex. More than 1,000 athletes from 90 clubs and sports organizations from Belarus, Russia, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan took part in the competition. Students of Polessky State University Roman Chimbur and Nikita Sahvon successfully performed at the Belarus Open. Roman Cimbur, the 2nd year student of the Faculty of Healthy Lifestyle Organization took the 1st place in the weight category up to 75 kg among men 18+ kumite.
