Another international interoperating student’s project organized by Polessky State University and Vilnius College/University of Applied Sciences is successfully over

The team of the students from the Banking faculty took part in the second round of the international student academic project “International Business, Finance and Banking” in Vilnius from the 14th to the 20th of April 2019 in the Vilnius College / University of Applied Sciences. 
This project is aimed at raising student mobility, improving language competencies, developing students' practical experience in finance through practical study of international experience and expanding prospects of  inter-university cooperation, and is being realized by Polessky State University along with international educational projects with universities in Germany, Poland, Russia and Ukraine. 
This time, students attended courses in Lithuanian commercial banks SwedBank and Siauliu Bankas, on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange; in educational laboratories of the bank and the Vilnius College Insurance Company; lectures on financial and banking topics on the development of socially oriented business, strategic planning, etc. 
At the end of the weekly seminar, students got new knowledge on the basis of  chosen profile, practical experience, became more familiar with Lithuanian culture, received official certificates of participating in training activities, which are a competitive advantage of future employment. 
This project has been fulfilled  by PolesSU and Vilnius College / University of Applied Sciences for five year. During this period dozens of students were trained in this program. Representatives of universities agreed to improve and extend the project, which means that a great number of students of Polessky State University will also have the opportunity to study at any European university to improve their language communication skills, further broaden their horizons and raise their financial profile.
