PRE-UNIVERSITY TRAINING

Tuition fee (pre-university training) 
Tuition fee for foreign citizens for the pre-university program «Russian as a foreign language» comprises $1600 (840 academic hours). Payment for accommodation in a hostel, health insurance and registration fees are charged separately.

A working meeting of the heads of the departments of Finance at VIKO and PolesSU

On December 18, there was a working meeting of Olga Bütkünene, Head of the Department of Finance of Vilniaus Kolegija/University of Applied Sciences, and Maxim I. Lisovsky, Head of the Department of Finance of Polessky State University, PhD (Economic Sciences), to discuss the prospects of improving training programs for students in the financial field. 

Participation in the DAAD seminar "Sustainable Development and Energy - Semantic Definition of Terms and Their Use in Language Training"

Selivanova E.A. and Selyuzhitskaya L.N., lecturers of the Department of Linguistics and Business Communication, successfully participated in the DAAD seminar "Sustainable Development and Energy - Semantic Definition of Terms and Their Use in Language Training", which was held from 9.12.2019 to 14.12.2019. The seminar took place at the International Sakharov Environmental Institute with the support of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

Polessky State University develops international academic cooperation

On December 16, a series of lectures presented by Olga Bütkünene, Head of the Department of Finance of Vilniaus Kolegija/University of Applied Sciences, were held within the framework of the Erasmus+ project and the interuniversity cooperation agreement for students and undergraduates of PolesSU. Lecture topics: "Financial system of Lithuania", "Personal finances".

18/12/2019 Congratulations on the appointment of presidential scholarships!

On December 18, 2019 the ceremony of awarding certificates of presidential scholarships of the Special Presidential Fund for the Social Support of gifted pupils and students took place.
The titles of the scholarship holders of the Special Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus were honoured and received Certificates:
Vladislav Gorba, a 3rd year student of the Banking Faculty;
Yelizaveta Bratchenya, a 3rd year student of the Banking Faculty;

Foreign training of a tutor of the Historical and Cultural Heritage Department at the Pomeranian Academy

On December 2-6, 2019 Sergey A. Demyanov, a senior lecturer of the Historical and Cultural Heritage Department, undertook a training at the Pomeranian Academy in Slupsk, Poland. The training was supervised by: the Director of the Institute, PhD in Hab., Professor Ivona Jazevic and Ph in Geography, Professor Ivan Pirozhnik. Within the framework of the training Demyanov S.A. got acquainted with the peculiarities of training of students of the specialty "Tourism and recreation".

28.12.2019 Vienna Ball in Minsk

For the first time in the history of modern Belarus Vienna Ball took place in the Independence Palace. The Ball was held in accordance with centuries-old traditions and UNESCO requirements. The participants of the Ball were the students of Polessky State University who achieved success in scientific activity, studies, creative work and social activities: Zborovskiy Vladislav, Grechnaya Elena, Sorokin Roman, Ustimchuk Alyona.

05.12.2019 at the invitation of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus the teaching staff of Polessky State University took part in the ceremony devoted to the completion of the construction of social housing with technical and economic assistance from the Chinese government.

Cooperation between PolesSU and NBRB continues

On December 6, students of the specialty Finance and Credit at Polessky State Universuty were offered a unique opportunity to attend a lecture of Oksana V. Ryzhkovskaya, PhD in Economics, Head of the Monetary policy Department of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus.
The subject of the lecture was “The transition to inflation targeting. The impact of communication policy on the effectiveness of Money and Credit Policy”

Pinsk Invest Weekend -13 took place on December 6, 2019

On December 6, one of the main innovative events of this year took place at Polessky State University – the startup projects contest. More than 70 participants came together to determine the best innovative project.
The event will be remembered for the presentation of 20 projects that have been pre-selected and which presented innovations in the field of green economy, healthy lifestyle and biotechnology, including the projects of the participants from the partner-University «National University of Water Management and Nature Resources Use».
