The republican junior rowing and canoeing competitions in memory of the defenders of the Brest Fortress were held on the rowing canal in Brest. The competition was attended by students of Polessky State University. Yegor Ovchinnikov, a 1st-year student, took two 2nd places among the boys - in a single canoe and in a double canoe at a distance of 500 m. Among the girls, Anna Marzhina, a 1st-year student, took two 3rd places in a single canoe at a distance of 1000 m and in a double canoe at a distance of 500 m.
